The company was founded in 2003 with the aim of creating an international sporting brand based on the latest advancements in the world of swimming. The Mad Wave team is composed of highly skilled engineers, graphic and 3D designers, developers, and notable Olympic swimmers. The brand offers a wide range of water sport products, from swim trunks, goggles, and racing suits to various types of professional equipment and accessories.

Mad Wave takes an active role in the popularization of swimming and other water sports. Starting in 2021, Mad Wave became an official partner of World Aquatics development program, which helps young athletes from developing countries reach new goals in the challenging world of international competitive swimming.
Mad Wave is proud to support the development of sports and talented athletes. In 2024, Mad Wave and the Spanish Swimming Federation entered into a partnership. Mad Wave's specialists designed a unique custom collection for the Spanish national team.
